Haha, this is so great! I loved the ending, too! I actually liked the music, I thought it fit perfectly. Great job on the stop motion, too; I've always wanted to try it, but it just seems like way too much work... :p

Thanks, i'm glad you liked the ending. At first it was going to end just with the squirrel eating his acorns on the bed of wool but it didn't seem a creepy enough ending...no one can defeat those evil knitted creatures.....! :o) Lizz

[short 3D demo]

3D in flash?

I'm just wondering if you actually rendered 3D in flash or you made a movieclip and imported that into flash. If you rendered in flash, I'd be interested in hearing your methods if you have time to PM me.

No, I just imported the movieclip into flash. Although I would love to actually have some real 3D in flassh I don't know how to make it yet.

Aww, I had a nice review written out and I hit refresh instead of my spell check button...

Basically I said that it was really well done but it needed to have a point to it. You don't need an elaborate story, but you could add some nice physical humor into it or something silly to make it into a movie instead of just eye candy.

As it is I gave a 4/5 for no sound.

you are so correct, it really could have used some story to it, I was just animating for the animation itself, - and for the cuteness I guess -, next time I will try some storytelling :)

Normally I wouldn't give this a good score, but the dog shooting laser beams was so funny I gave you a 4!!

I think it was how it shot a few and looked guiltily at the camera then blew up the wheelbarrow. Haha, good times...

Kinda Slow...

I was pretty bored with the movie, but you did the sprite animations really well.

Just a warning, though, people rarely want to read for a flash movie. Try adding voice overs, and probably less dialog all together.

Also, with sprite animatons, more fight scene less drama is better too. People have seen all of the sprites many times before, they don't make a great backdrop for drama.

Thanks for the review, i agree... when i was making this, i just wanted to finish it because its the boring one that sets the story for the rest of the series, plenty of battle scenes await and alot less dialouge....

Well...okay...

This as very odd and random, which seems to be the major trend on this site. The Graphics were okay, you seem to have a good grasp of settings and timing.

I guess the main thing that bothered me was that you seemed to get bored of the plot about halfway through and just do a bunch of random imagery. Then you bring it back at the end. Hrmmmm...

The dream sequences do get to be a bit much, especially the third one. Perhaps I made the third one too long. And yeah, it's random as all hell. Personally, I like that, but I can see how it could be annoying. Ah well. Thanks for the review.
