That was BRILLIANT!! Iz all like RAWR!

Rig responds:

yessir

I like it.

It sounded pretty good, had a nice tone. I think it was well organized too. I think it could use some better mixing, though.

There were a lot of surprises in the second half of the song, too! That kept it fresh.

Outrage92 responds:

[: Much Appreciation, man. I wanted it to be a little more random and "surprise-ful" than most of my other fairly-repetitive songs. And like I said to Rm7766 below you, I understand its a bad mix, just read my reply to him for an explanation, haha. Glad to hear its fresh, glad that you enjoyed it. Next will be better [:

Hmm

The bass in the background reminded me a lot of the battle theme from Chrono Trigger, haha. Overall, I love the feel of it, but I think it could really use some stronger drums.

AtelierLucid responds:

Thanks for the comments! I'll consider that for my next song. About the drums, i lost all my samples on PC reinstall, that was the best i have. Still seeking now, heh...

Hey, this is good!

The title makes it sound like it's going to be calm, lol. I actually really liked it, though, it IS calming in a way, even though it still feels frenetic. I took off a point because despite the fact that you were able to make it interesting the whole way through and how well it's mixed, it did feel a bit tired right off the bat, being tied so firmly to conventions. If you're really only 13, as your profile says, though, you have plenty of time to find your own voice.

DJ-Babokon responds:

I am 13. I appreciate your reveiw. Thank you.

Actually, I like it!

I don't know much about rap, so I don't know how well I can critique you, but this sounds pretty pro to me. The only thing I'd say is that in some places your enunciation doesn't match the intensity of the synths so it feels like it mushes a bit (the spot I noticed this the most was the "If you're from the south let me hear your rebel yell" part). I think it stuck out the most there because the rest of the song was so well done, though.

Could also just be a preference thing, though. To me rap lyrics should have all the smack and nuance of a full drumset.

NimbusTheGeneral responds:

I know exactly what you mean fam. This actually is going to be re-recorded because the chorus didn't sound "hype" enough for the energy of the track. Actually, the whole track didn't sound hype enough. But I'm definitely aware of the flaws in the track and will fix that my next studio session. Appreciated!

God...

This song is so underrated, dude. I can't stop listening to it! It's amazing!

cycerin responds:

Thanks man!

Kinda cool

I loved the ending after the pause. The beginning wasn't as good and kinda gimmicky (IMHO), I'd rather have a whole song like that without the beginning part. Something about the mix made my ears feel weird. Kind of like when you're in a totally silent room and it hurts your ears. Maybe it just needs something to fill out the sound.

Z-Tone responds:

"Maybe it just needs something to fill out the sound"
thats exactly the problem of this song its too empty
needs all those little things
by the way loooove the valley
was maybe the only reson i kept playing that game till end
cus i always thought how great that trac was written
anyways you should really check out my other track cus really i dont know how this got 2. place
