God...

This song is so underrated, dude. I can't stop listening to it! It's amazing!

cycerin responds:

Thanks man!

Kinda cool

I loved the ending after the pause. The beginning wasn't as good and kinda gimmicky (IMHO), I'd rather have a whole song like that without the beginning part. Something about the mix made my ears feel weird. Kind of like when you're in a totally silent room and it hurts your ears. Maybe it just needs something to fill out the sound.

Z-Tone responds:

"Maybe it just needs something to fill out the sound"
thats exactly the problem of this song its too empty
needs all those little things
by the way loooove the valley
was maybe the only reson i kept playing that game till end
cus i always thought how great that trac was written
anyways you should really check out my other track cus really i dont know how this got 2. place

Cool!

This is really fun to listen to! I love the melodies and the synths, and the bass is so smooth. It has an over-compressed sound to it though, like when the bass kicks in everything else kind of falls down for a second then warbles up and down. I noticed it in your Sonic Colors song too (I've had that in my playlist for a while now).

It's a distinct sound, and it works well in a few spots on the song, but it also seems to flatten it out a bit.

Stan-SB responds:

yeah this was very compressed :) mainly beacause it was done on reason and i'm much more comfortably with logic, to tell you the truth i am terrible at mixing, but i'm going to work on that :D
thanks for the review

Cool

I loved the feel, but the bass felt like it needed some EQ in the low mid range to make it stand out more. The drums sounded like they were peaking, too. Overall a great track, it just needs a little love in the mastering department. Try listening to it on a few different sets and make sure it sounds good on all of them.

S'ok

I agree that voices were a little strange. The song sounded a bit empty too, try beefing up the synths by layering more sounds together. I liked the basslines and stuff, though. Keep it up. :3

Nice

I liked it, but it was very...sega? Kinda flat and tinny. Maybe that was the style you were going for, but usually your stuff sounds so huge this just didn't compare. I didn't love Chaoz Fantasy either, so it's probably just a different style you're working in.

More Infiltration plz? :3

kthxbie.

Nice

I enjoyed it, but it was kind of soft. It worked, though, because the bassline was so buttery smooth. :3

tijnn responds:

Soft?

Turn up your volume and die from audioblast man! xD

Woah!

I loved the bass! It was so deep.

blargh

I took your advice and skipped ahead after some because I hate long intros. :3 I loved the "melody part." Those bassline shifts always get to me...

It seemed like the change/climax could have been stronger. It seems like after 3 minutes of buildup there should just be a massive release FUCK YEAH moment, you know? It was there, but I just wanted more. Like a blast of catharsis.

Kr1z responds:

Aah glad you read my description :D
And you're right about the climax part. Might work a bit on it
Thanks for the tip!!

Orr?

This has a David Orr flavor to it, but it's still original. Maybe it's the snare drum.

Anyway, I love it! :3

MaestroRage responds:

thank you Kajenx! I love the original as well as this little rendition. The snare drums are actually burrowed straight out of the original. I did my best to reproduce it I think it's faithful to it in that regard.

Thanks for the review, glad you liked it!
