how about you give me half your money, I kick you in the nuts, and we call if even

I would never call if even. :3

then again, if i wasnt hungry i would tape it to my shoulder. that is all sir.

...why? lol

Works as a makeshift prosthetic limb if you lose one in a construction accident.

That's pretty creative, reminds me of Belwar Dissengulp. I'll give a 6.

Take the hammer into a mall and hold it for a while with a very blank expression on your face. Then suddenly, take the hammer and stick it up your butt and then take it out and lick, while people are watching. After, take the hammer and ask if someone wants a taste.

No...just...no.....

so what do u need to get a perfect 10?

A really creative idea. How can you use a hammer in a logical way that is really different from its original purpose of pounding things in and removing things?

Jumping up and down on a sledge hammer as an exercise pogo thing was a great idea because it seems like it would actually work.

Have you Ever went to a restaurant and your Steak wasnt as Tender as you wanted it to be.

The For-mer One side hammer one side fork
for all thouse peasky Medium well-done steack meet there match with this beauty

all thouse tough hard to chew meats will be a "For-mer" thing of the past

Not quite what I'm looking for, but I'll give it a 4. Hammers are meant to pound things, so not all that creative. It seems like a heavy fork would be hard to eat with too.

It'd definitely be funny to see people beating their meat at the dinner table though.

I'm so bad....

i just relaized how stupid mine sounds xD

LOL!

Just looked up who that was. Blasted gnome stole my idea...

You could also use a hammer as a kickstand for a bike or motorcycle.

Use the head of a hammer as a doorknob.

Glue a few hammers to a slab of wood or metal, and you have a TV tray.

Use a hammer as a replacement for your car's gearshift...or gas pedal...or any thing that might look like it could be replaced with a hammer.

I think all of those fall into 5-6 range. They're all somewhat creative, but they don't seem a perfect fit for a hammer shape. The handle would probably work better by itself in those cases.

"...or any thing that might look like it could be replaced with a hammer."

Now you're just flailing. :3

You could use the hammer to build a factory in which to make hundreds more hammers and then bash the wooden handles into a wall to make millions of tiny splinters the size of toothpicks. Then you could superglue to all the splinters to the leftover hammer heads to make cute little model porcupines which you would then sell and make a killing off of.

And you could also make do it yourself specials on how kids and little old ladies can who love arts and crafts can make porcupines with their very own hammers lying around gathering dust in the tool shed or garage!

You know, it's a really weird idea, but a hammer head covered in splinters would somewhat resemble a porcupine...

I'll put it in the 4-5 range.

I will use it to hammer nails.

The nails will hold together a giant wooden sculpture.

That sculpture will be the most original, creative, and beautiful thing ever.

There.

PS: Coming up with ways to use a hammer is not an accurate portrayal of creativity.

You're welcome.

Haha, just because you aren't creative enough to think of a good idea doesn't mean it isn't a good test. Anyway, I'm not necessarily judging your overall creativity, just the creativity of the response.

By the way, you response was a 1. :3

i would use it like a normal person would use a hammer

Most normal people aren't creative.

Hmm Creativity you say? A hammer can be used in many ways whether its for construction, art, or violence..anyway depending on the type of hammer being that its either made of wood or rubber you can take the hammer apart (base and top). You can woodcraft the base part with drawings, colors, and maybe sharpen the edge a little and you have made yourself a colorful Croquet Stick. For the top, if its wood simply use a razorsaw and cut the top into slices and you sir have made thin coasters for your table. Or if its rubber you can create a Tiki Face with a simple knife and use the Hole where the Base to the hammer was as a mouth.

Hmm, there are some good ones here I think. Using the raw materials of the hammer for carving or art (or coasters, lol) is an interesting idea, I'll give those ideas a 5-6. You aren't using a hammer for something new, but transforming it logically is a good start.

lol That last line was because I started to think of several other things that could be replaced by it in a car: the handle that the wiper controls are on, brake pedal, emergency brake, lever that pops open the hood, and so on.

Pretty much any lever, I guess; but a hammer already is a lever.

lol I know it was out there :P But hey if I made a hammer porcupine, Id keep it :D

Doooo itttt!!

So, by that logic, any oblong, sturdy, solid object is a lever...

I guess that you could replace YOUR lever with a hammer, and then do some nailing. But, that joke has already been used.

Well, yes and no. The back of a hammer is used to lever out nails and other objects, sooo....

Your joke was a creative variation of the previous one, so I think you deserve the same score for it. :3

to kill a pigeon

instead of spin the bottle
spin the hammer?

Aw i got a good one say you work for construction
and you all wanna see who pays for lunch so u draw hammers whoever has the shortest hammer loss's

aww...

Homicide?

Lol, someone already said spin the hammer.

Drawing hammers, ehhh, maybe a 4-5. It's somewhat creative, but not relevant to the hammer itself.

not readin

Me neither!

I'd call my friend and tell him to bring his hammer, then we'd jump up and down and shoot an unlimited supply of them at an fat plumbers that came near us. :3

Oh, please.... lol

2-3

wow this is one of the best news posts ever putting tons of ideas of everyone out there

I think it could be a toy horse (paint the head like a horses and ride around on the stick) y'know one of those horse head toys on a stick that you pretend to be a knight or w/e on

you could also make it the head of a pinocchio puppet (the stick being the nose and the haed being pinocchio's head)

you culd make a joy sitck with it if it was a plastic hammer or something

hehe just throwing ideas out there but really awesome idea with this post

PS the hammer hedgehog would be worth buying

Toy horse is pretty good, 6-7 for that.

Pinocchio is interesting, but a little less feasible I think. I'd put that around a 5.

Joystick is pretty similar to the other various levers mentioned, so I think that sits around a 3-4.
